Al3xandria 3D library
This output consists of an Open Educational Resource in the form of an online library (Ale3andria) that collects 3D digital medical models, also called Digital Learning Objects (DLOs),
ensuring free, easy and open access.
DLOs will contain:
– The original medical imaging of the specific case (computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ultrasound, radiography)
– A document containing the description of the medical conditions of the patient (age, sex, illness, relevant previous facts, treatments, etc.)
– 3D models, as to say the three dimensional reconstruction (segmentation) of a set of planar images of every pathology.
